He has been a NMRA member for over thirty years and an OPSIG and LDSIG member for the last twenty. President of the OPSIG for six years right after Bill Jewett’s death, he led the organization through several years of explosive growth and many new transformative programs, including non-profit status, full color publication of their magazine The Dispatcher’s Office, formation of the Bill Jewett Fund, initiation of the OPSIG clothing line, new web site design and a revitalized Call Board. He was Editor of the DO for several years, and the Editor of the seminal book on Timetable and Train Order Operation, ’19 East, Copy Three’. He also was the layout artist and co-Editor of the OPSIG’s book on Operations, ‘A Compendium Of Model Railroad Operations, From Design to Implementation’. He has written extensively in the model railroad press and is a frequent attendee at many operating events around the country. His model railroad, The Delaware & Susquehanna, is a sprawling effort that keeps up to fourteen folks enjoying (hopefully) the fruits of prototype model railroading. You’re welcome to come visit! David Doiron David is a life member of the NMRA and the PSR. His involvement in model railroad operations began in 1954 with the primitive equipment available at that time and incorporated new features as they developed. A founding member of the Lackawampum” model railroad club in Tempe (later becoming the Scottsdale club), and a member of various clubs in New Jersey and California while in the service, David expanded his experiences and involvement in the hobby, becoming a friend, advisor, designer, and coordinator for several large layouts. David was one of the founders of ProRail and has coordinated two of those events. He was also a founding member of the NMRA OpSIG and is currently the OpSig coordinator for the PSR region and the coordinator for DesertOps. He began hosting operating sessions on his 4400 sqft basement layout in 2010 and all are invited to come visit. John Parker John is a life-long model railroader living in Northern Colorado for the past 40 years. Retired from a global technology company, he enjoys fly-fishing and hiking, in addition to working on his BNSF Fall River Division model railroad. Sammy Carlile Sammy Carlile lives in the Osage Hills near Tulsa, Oklahoma with his awesome wife Deidra and his 2 fantastic boys Samuel and Bryson. He has been employed in the engineering and manufacturing field at the same company for over 29 years and is currently the senior salesperson in the engineered...
